For the first time in school history the Montabella Mustangs are headed to the State Championship game at the Superior Dome in Marquette. The Mustangs (11-1) on the season will face the Martin Clippers (12-0) on Saturday November 22 at 11:00am. The Mustangs are coming off a historic win against the Norway Knights in which the Mustangs trailed at the end of each of the first 3 quarters. With their backs against the wall the Mustangs reeled off 24 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to claim the semi-final win over the Knights. In just two days the Mustangs have a chance to raise that one trophy that every team before them has strived for.
